Snazzy's DT Blog time again ........ Yay!

Hi Everyone,

It's my week to post on Snazzy's DT blog again and boy have we had some fabulous products to play with this month.  The Bosses (Val and Don) send us the bestest stuff to play with and this month it's all things Studio 490!

I've long been a fan of the brilliant Wendy Vecchi, the Studio 490 designer in case you didn't know, since I was introduced to her fab stamps a few years ago by Lynn Robinson-Hunter and then later at a workshop with Linda Elbourne, both lovely ladies with oodles of talent.  I bought a few sets of Wendy's stamps but didn't get chance  to use them very often which was starting to irritate me because the brilliant Hels Sheridan uses all Mrs Vecchi's products on a regular basis on her blog and more recently demoing them on shows on Create & Craft TV.  For me these shows have been the best inky stamping tutorials since Glenda Waterworth parted company with C&C and Hels showcases Studio 490 brilliantly.

Anyway, the DT were all sent a set of Wendy Vecchi stamps, a sample bag of Art Parts and a sample pack of Clearly for Art and Gillian kicked off the month with her three fabulous pieces last week.  Now it's my turn and here is a sneak peek at my first submission.

Do I get you with the butterfly sneaky peek Mama Pez? Lol!

Please pop over to the DT Blog and have a look at the whole piece.  It's actually quite a change from anything I've made before I think and I so enjoyed making it.  I'm nearly finished on my second piece for this month and I think it's going to be my favourite 'cos I'm really chuffed with it so far (eeeek, perhaps I shouldn't have said that till it's safely finished!) and I'm really surprised that my projects aren't turning out at all grungy as I thought they would.  Anyway, let me know what you think, good or bad as long as you're kind, lol!

I'll be back later in the week with another sneak peek of my next project.  Until then hope you all have a good week and no return of the freezing temperatures of last week.

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

Can't go wrong with butterflies! And that you made them from acetate with bent wings and everything. Beautiful!

A lovely project buddy, love the delicacy of it. The colour combination is very pretty. The sprinkled seed beads are very effective.
Looking forward to the next one.

Hugs, Judith xx
