Play Date Cafe and Elusive Images

Hello again everyone, Wow, me posting two days in a row!!!! That doesn't happen very often, in fact this is probably the first time, Lol!

The reason is the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week is being sponsored by Elusive Images and I and a few of my Team mates have decided to play along.  Each week PDCC give a colour theme to be used and this is the one we had to work to.

Glenda Waterworth (owner of EI) is the guest designer over on the PDCC blog so I'm off over there in a mo to see what she and their very talented Design Team have created for us.  This is the card I made using their colour story for this week and if you would like to know the details of how and what I used and also see what my friends have created, click here to go to the Elusive Images blog where you will find all the relevant links.

and a close up of the main detail.

The EI stamps I used are from a couple of years ago and I still love them but if you want to join in with the PDCC this week there are some of the latest stamps up for grabs so why not have a go.

It was double pleasurable for me to join in with this challenge because I have a lovely blog buddy over on the PDCC Design Team.  Suzanne is such a talented lady and is the source of a huge amount of inspiration as well as being a lovely friend into the bargain.  You certainly wouldn't be disappointed by paying her blog a visit.  Say Hi from me while you're there!

Hi Lesley

You tricked me there. To start off with I thought you had laid your table for a special meal and was sharing that .. .. but instead you are sending me to look at lots of other fantastic places - they will have to wait until tonight .. .. Christmas cards are calling.

Beautiful make by the way. Interesting shape.

Glad we got to join in this challenge together! I love the shape of your card, it accentuates the shape of your main stamp beautifully. The punched paper at the bottom is fabulous, and the silver embellishment is the perfect finishing touch. Judith xx

What a beautiful liece of artwork Lesley.

I took at look at the challenge earlier but that was as far as it got, the power went and is only just back. My how quite the office was, just shows how much noice electricity generates.

Gorgous card Leseley, love what you've done with the centre of that intricate holly wreath stamp. It was fun to play along with the PDC challenge this week.

This is wonderful card Lesley, love the shape (may I borrow the design?) Love the stamping of the holly on the fold down bits - inspired idea! In fact love it all!

I left a message for all the cards on the EI blog, but didn't see your link and your card just had to have a mention, because it's so beautiful! Glad I found you, thanks for playing along with us at the PDCC this week, and to EI for sponsoring us too!

Hi Lesley - I bet you thought I'd dropped off the planet - wel I'm still here and trying to do a bit of blog hopping while I have an hour to myself. I feel so guilty about not getting round at the moment - but I will be back (eventually). I love this card - so clean and fresh looking. Great design too. Belated congratulations on getting onto the Graphicus DT too.
