If at first you don't succeed ..........

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick little post as I've been rather busy (gadding up to Harrogate for a start, Lol) and haven't managed a post for over a week. Naughty, naughty! It's just a sneak peek really of the project I should have done for our joint CSQ blog over a month ago. I chose the pretty canvas by Sharon Neill from the June issue of Craft Stamper thinking it would be relatively easy. Well, I was badly mistaken! Every one of us struggled as regular visitors to our joint blog will know and I had actually given up and gone onto other projects including my flag book which I thoroughly enjoyed doing. However, I don't like to be completely beaten so I decided to give it one more try (3 tries went in the figurative bin) ................. and it worked. Yay and double Yay!!!

If you want to see the whole thing please visit Craft Stamping Quartet and while you're there take a look at my friend Elaine's beautiful flag book if you haven't already seen it.

Thanks for visiting and leaving much appreciated comments if you have time.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hugs
Lesley Xx

well done for not giving up Lesley -it looks great now! Love the colours, really zingy, and the masking is wonderful - and I couldn't see the tissue paper!

Hi Lesley

I adore the colours adn the finished effect is very elegant.

I know just what you mean about almost giving up and the bin routine as I went through the same last week with my fist canvas.

It was something I had planned for ages but only took the plung when I needed to do a minature and the 3x3 canvas fitted the bill perfectly.

The hardest part for me was being able to place something firn underneath the centre part of the canvas to be able to stamp a good image - henc the bin came into play.
