Snazzy DT April Challenge.

Hello Everyone,

This morning when I opened my eyes I saw something I'd almost forgotten the look of ............... brilliant sunshine, lol!  After two weeks of seriously heavy rainfall (yesterday it never stopped all day :-( ) it now looks especially beautiful this morning and I think it's the best anti-depressent there is.  I'm now in the process of attacking the mountain that is my overflowing dirty linen basket following a four day visit by my lovely Daughter and her two littlies.  Later this week she has to return to one of the two part time jobs she has, following the birth of our gorgeous Charlie, so she won't be able to come down for visits like she has been doing for the past five months :o(.  Unfortunately this visit wasn't quite the fun time we like it to be partly because of the blooming awful weather which made going out anywhere uncomfortable to say the least, but also poor little Charlie hasn't been his usual smiley self for most of the time and we think it's because his teeth are starting their slow progress to the surface and are really making him feel out of sorts poor little chap.

Anyway, my post this morning is to let you know that over on the Snazzy DT Blog this week we are hosting our second challenge of the year.  The theme this month is 'Spring Colours' and here is a taster of my little bit of inspiration which you can see in full over on the DT Blog.  As there are no explanations on the methods we have used on the full blog post, if you have any questions just leave a comment on the blog and we'll do our best to answer.

The challenge closes next Sunday, 6th May, and the winner will be announced the following day Monday, 7th May, so why not hop on over to the DT Blog to see what we've all been up to and to find out what goodies are destined to be added to one lucky entrant's stash.

Have a good week everyone and thanks for your visit today.  I'm off to peg out some more washing on the line ;o).

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

Morning Lesley... this looks fabulous off to Snazzys to take a look.
Don't get too bogged down with domestics on this "sunny" day... mind you the washing will dry lol

Delightful colouring of that butterfly & the layering with the lifted wings is beautifully effective. I still have that stamp to ink! Hope little Charlie perks up once those chewing utensils have emerged.

Beautiful card sweet, Sorry the weather ruined your fun family time, but at least you got to see them. Now get back to the washing and ironing lol

Love your card Lesley, so bright and cheerful.

Good to hear that at least some parts of the UK have some sunshine today, here it's still raining!!!
Ah well, it's a shame it spoiled your daughter's visit a bit, but I bet it was great to have her even so. She's going to be one busy lady by the sounds of it!

Hope you'll have a good week, despite that dratted mountain of laundry....

Thanks for the sneaky peek - off to see more. Sun is shining here but we have had a few heavy showers today as well but nothing like the relentless rain yesterday - most depressing.

Glad you have good weather, Buddy, sorry that you have a laundry mountain to deal with! Poor little Charlie, I hope his gums settle down again soon, bless him.

Love your project. I have some bits and bobs out, so I might have a go at something for the challenge. It may involve some flowers and butterflies, you know me!

Hugs, Judith xx

I'm sorry we couldn't arrange better weather for your trip Up North, it's been shocking hasn't it and then today Spring has returned with beautiful, warm sunshine and, as you say, you can feel your mood lifting can't you!!! Bet it'll be back to Winter tomorrow.
What a shame Charlie wasn't at his best either. Those teeth are such a pain for them aren't they. I hope he is feeling better very soon.
I'm off to admire your creation
Take care
Hugs Lisax

Lucky you hogging the sun.... we've still got grey skies, no blue in sight but hoping it breaks through this morning. Sorry to hear that Charlie is suffering, I do hope he breaks in those teeth quickly and recovers his normal good natured self... poor little man.
Great art work Lesley, it's good to know you're still finding time to create and enjoy some 'me' time.
