Chocolate Baroque Blog Challenge entry - Week 20.....I said I was going to be early, lol!

Morning All,

Quick post from me this morning as I have to be out for an appointment shortly.  As I promised myself after missing last months lovely colour challenge over on the Chocolate Baroque Challenge Blog I have made sure I get one done early for this one.  I have to be honest and say these colours did take me out of my comfort zone a bit as they are quite strong colours and I usually go for more subtle but I enjoyed doing it.

I stamped 'fragments' from CB sets Gothic Fragments and Texture Fragments onto 9 x 4 cm tiles using Potting Soil Archival Ink after having blended Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey Distress Inks firsts.  The centre tile is a sentiment from CB clear set Mackintosh Sentiments.  I added a bit of 'dotting' with a white pen to add a bit more interest and edged each tile with Potting Soil Archival using a piece of Cut n Dry before arranging the tiles on a dark brown card base (looks black on here to me, lol).  The centre tile is raised on 3D foam pads.

Said it was going to be quick didn't I ;-)!  Off to link up to the challenge and I'll be back over the weekend hopefully.  Happy Friday all!

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

A fabulous zingy entry for our Chocolate Baroque Challenge Lesley. Thanks so much for entering. A great design, the white highlights really bring each segment to life, and the dark matting really showcases the panels perfectly. Judith xx
