Snazzys DT project #2 ........ or half of it at least!

Hello again lovely visitors and thanks for stopping by.

This is a teensy sneak peek of my final project for Snazzys this year.  Please pop over to the DT Blog to see the project in full and the how to and leave me a little comment if you have time :o).  The reference to 'half the project' is also explained in the DT blog post, lol!

One thing I haven't said in the DT blog post is that I saw something similar in a local rather posh garden centre shop a few weeks ago.  I was amazed that they were asking £3.99 and all theirs had on it was a vintage style scene printed onto a rectangle of paper with a thin glitter edging!  Still, I'm glad I saw them because it gave me the idea for my project and I'm really pleased with it.  I will definitely be making more in the future.

I'll be back again over the weekend as, believe it or not, I have something I made which was not made for the DT.  Hope you can come back then.

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

I really like your tea light holder. I decorated a jar several years back, stamped and embossed and the coloured in with Sakura pens. After many washes the colouring has all gone but the embossing is still as hood as new.

Morning Lesley. Isn't funny how we are inspired by things when we are out and about. As Crafters I think we see inspiration everywhere don't we?
Your Tea light holder is really beautiful, I bet it looks lovely and Christmassy all lit up. Well done on finishing the marmalade in the interest of crafting!!!
Hope all is good with you and you are keeping warm in this chilly weather.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs Lisax

This just had me totally amazed! It still staggers me the price that one has to pay for things that are easily made or created with a little thought. Mind you - I don't think I would have tried this one with my track record for setting fire to what I'm embossing - mind you Richard bought me a super new heat gun when I realized my Pink Pig was overheating as only one out of 10 or so embossed images didn't flatten & unshine.

The title got me wondering so I'm off to check out the whole project (or is it half??).
