Hi Everyone,
Oooh, I hope you have the same weather we have today. It's absolutely perfect for me - lovely sunshine but slightly hazy so it's not too blindingly bright or too hot. I love it and so I thought I'd post a card I made for Elusive Images (now the gorgeous Chocolate Baroque) last year. One of the stamp sets I used is called Let Your Heart Sing which is what a day like today makes me feel like.
I also used Artylicious paper in the background and another set of EI stamps called Earth Spirit . Check out the Chocolate Baroque website to see if these stamps are still available. I really enjoyed making those flowers after a quick tutorial from my CSQ buddy, Judith.
The colours for the Let Your Heart Sing image are blended Distress Inks and the colours on the smaller image are done with a brayer using a Big and Juicy inkpad.
Well, you are all being spared my usual waffle today as I have loads to do before another trip up the A1 this evening. I'm staying overnight so that I can sort out a few of The Wedding makes with my daughter ................ no not THAT WEDDING, lol!!!! The Wedding that is far more important to me and my lovely 'Baby' which is only five weeks away now! I am now convinced that unless I miss lots of sleep before the day, I will definitely not get everything done.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.
Lots of love and hugs
Lesley Xx

Gorgeous mix of colors on the images. Love the blended background. This wedding is a major event and can't wait to see all the pics afterward!
What a fab card. I love the colours. It's an unusual combination but it really works. I am doing a set of ATCs for a swap called Early morning birdsong, (using CB stamp set - Dawn CXhrous) and you have given me some more ideas. Thanks! Kate x
loving the combination of colours...such a beautiful creation.
Wonderful colours, an inspiring creation

What a beautiful card and the colours are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
absolutely gorgeous Lesley - love the way you combined two of my favourite stamp sets, and they go so well together! Colours are lovely too....
It's been a fantastic day here today, Lesley. We have spent the whole day in the garden, pure bliss.
Have a safe trip and enjoy your Wedding planning.
The card is gorgeous, btw, I love the dusky colours you've used. I can almost hear that bird singing.
Hugs Lisax
Hi Lesley. The colours you've used are beautiful. The two stamps work well together. Your flowers are a fab finishing touch.

Your use of colour is glorious & I particularly like the way the leaves in the clusters of flowers not only accentuate the branches of the stamped images but the design of the paper. The die-cut border also demonstrates the art of blended edges.

I love this card, the colours are just gorgeous. The oranges against the purples and blues are just fabulous. You did a grand job with the flowers! I love these birds, it's just a great blend of images too.
It's an exciting time for you, with the big Wedding plans, the time will just fly by. You'll need 48 hours in a day! Judith xx
Beautiful card. Love the lovely colours and the blending. You definately will need more time in your days, for the big day. Hope everything is coming together well for you. Hugs x ChrisB
Wow Lesley .. .. this is absolutely stunning. Such gorgeous colours and those stamps look amazing.
I have a sneaky feeling that once the wedding is done you might sleep for a couple of months. You sound like you have been not just your usual hyper busy self but hyper-hyper!!!
I am sure it is going to be a perfect day.
Love Jules xx
This is STUNNING Lesley, the colours are amazing!!
Wheather, you don't want me to start on that... we had some s**w showers again on saturday and -1 this morning (sigh). Never been that bad since we've been here in Canada.
