Snazzy's DT project #1 for September

Good Morning lovely visitors.  I hope this is the start of a good week for you all.

Today starts the final week of my creations for the wonderful Snazzy's DT as I've reluctantly decided to step down from the Design Team.  It's a decision I've been wrestling with for a few months now as family commitments have eaten into my crafting time more and more.  As many of my blogging friends know my  Mum is suffering from Alzheimers and is gradually needing more and more of my attention and for some strange reason my OH would like us to spend more time together now he has retired, lol!  However, the main reason is I have a craftroom full of gorgeous stash and no time to actually 'play' so I have decided my crafting time now is going to be for me to ink up some of those many unused stamps and alter some of those still bare alterables (of which I have loads, lol)!

I shall miss the wonderful Snazzy's crew to some extent but with the wonders of the internet and social networks like Twitter and Facebook not to mention blogs, I am sure we will keep tabs on one another, ;D.

Anyway, here is a peak at my penultimate Snazzy's project and if you would like to see the whole, please hop across to the Snazzy's DT blog.

I'll be back on Thursday with my final design for the DT and hope you can stop by again then.

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

A fabulous altered set of drawers Lesley, perfect for those bits of lace. It's always a difficult decision to make when you have to stand down but family always comes first.
Take care.

It's a wonderful make Lesley!

I'm so glad I got to know you through being on the Snazzys team with you, it's been a great ride and you will be sadly missed. I hope to see many more of your wonderful creations here now, and see you out there in blogland and FB (I don't do Twitter)!

Hi Lesley. So sorry to hear you are leaving the Snazzy team. I hope the extra time with your OH is good. It can be a difficult time adjusting to such changes - with any luck he'll find himself a hobby too so you can still have some time to enjoy your crafting.
Love the set of drawers. Will have to look out for the base units - I'd love to have a go at somethiing like that.

We are so sorry to be losing you from the Snazzy DT but sadly we truly understand the stresses and demands of dealing with dementia type illness within the family - it will become vital you get some 'me' time to just relax and create, and to simply have more opportunity to spend time with your lovely family. Wishing you and yours all the very best for the future xx

Time is such a precious commodity - especially with husbands, I can understand the need to reduce commitments & to be able to actually enjoy crafting for yourself.
Off to Snazzy's to have a look........
Much love

You have to do what's right for you Lesley, and with your hectic life at the moment, I don't blame you for wanting some 'me' time, to do what you want to do!!

I know you will be missed with your wonderful creations, but like you say, we'll all stay in touch via other means so social networking.

I'm sure you're making the right decision for your family and yourself... I will miss your Snazzy makes, but look forward to seeing what you get up to when you're free to follow your crafty instincts! These decorative storage drawers are a lovely way to start your final week - can't wait for more!
