Snazzys October DT project - Kaisercraft

'Morning Everyone,

Just a very quick share this morning as it's my turn to post a project over on the Snazzys DT blog.  This month we had some lovely Kaisercraft products to play with including stamps, papers and an MDF piece to alter.  I will admit I was a bit fazed by the MDF piece at first but once I started wor ............ er, playing with it I soon started to enjoy myself, lol!  I'd be so pleased if you have time to pop over and have a look.  Perhaps you can say whether you think I was 'working' or 'playing'  ; ).

Here's a little sneaky peek.

I had a lovely time on Saturday at the Happy Stampers North West show at Port Sun light where Val and Don, owners of Snazzys were exhibiting for the first time.  It was great to be able to say hello to them.  I also got to share the long journey with my navigator and buddy Jo and we met up with a 3rd member of the Craft Stamping Quartet, Judith.  As always one of our merry band was missing, namely Elaine and it always makes us a bit sad.  Another extra bonus was seeing several members of the Chocolate Baroque Guild which is always a treat.  All in all, it's well worth the long drive there and back for such a great show specifically aimed at stampers.

I'll be back again in a few days with another make.  See you then and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
Lesley  Xx

A very fine line between work and play when it comes to crafting I think. Whichever it was you've done a grand job and I've left a comment on their blog. Pleased you met up with your buddies and had a good time at the weekend.

It was so lovely to see you on Saturday, and I got to see this fabulous piece of artwork. It really is gorgeous. The colours are beautiful, and I love the subject matter.
The Show was great, my favourite I think for the friendship, the stands and the stamps, just brilliant. It was great to see our friends, but sad not to see our buddy :( Looking forward to seeing your next piece. Big hugs, Judith xx

Sounds like you had an amazing time at Happy Stampers. I've met Val on two occasions - the last two ArtStamps Wales shows & was thrilled when I made the connection with your DT image. This crafting world is shrinking. Have left a comment over on the Snazzy blog. Not sure if it was work or play, maybe it was plark or plork?? A bit of both.

I have had a lovely look at the full project and it's absolutly stunning, Lesley. Definitely a combination of work and play I would think, usually how the best creations happen.
The colours are lovely and it's such a clever idea.
Glad you had a great weekend, it sounds perfect sharing it with friends.
Sorry to hear you are suffering with the wind. We have been stuck under the rain yet again, third day on thr trot, mist, rain and wind and they've said it'll last for at least two more days, joy. I think a day in the Craft room is definitely on the cards tomorrow.
Take care my friend.
